The people behind F.R.E.E.

Financial guidance shaped by life, faith, and practical work.

F.R.E.E. is a framework for Filipino individuals and families who want to make deliberate decisions with money and live with more room for purpose.

JR Torregosa

Founder’s story

JR Torregosa, LFA

Founder / CEO

JR grew up as the second child in a pastor’s family where faith and service were central, even as money was often tight. After moving to Cavite, he faced the strain of failed businesses and debt. Those experiences made financial decisions personal, not theoretical.

He spent seven years working across multiple BPO companies as a sales and billing advisor. During that chapter, he earned All-Star recognition four times in a row. The experience strengthened his communication, sales, service, and problem-solving skills while teaching him the discipline required to provide for a growing family.

His work later expanded into marketing as a virtual assistant and serving clients as a licensed financial advisor. F.R.E.E. brings his story and professional experience together in a coaching approach that starts with stewardship, then addresses earning, protection, and investment education.

Outside work, JR serves as the music director of a local church and plays the guitar. Faith, music, and service remain important parts of his life. He is also a father of four and is building a future with his soon-to-be wife, LJ.

Jerhome Torregosa

Meet the head coach

Jerhome Torregosa, LFA

Head Coach

Jerhome brings experience from several demanding kinds of work to financial coaching. He has worked as a security instructor and an operations director, and has also worked nights as a virtual assistant. He is a licensed financial advisor.

Those roles gave him firsthand experience with leadership, teaching, and the discipline of earning across different schedules. At F.R.E.E., he helps people look honestly at their finances and take practical steps toward stronger habits.

Jerhome is JR’s younger brother, the third child in their family, and his best friend. Their partnership is rooted in a shared desire to help Filipino families steward what they have with care.

Jireh Torregosa

Meet the creative director

Jireh Torregosa

Creative Director

Video and photo editing have been central to Jireh’s professional life. As F.R.E.E.’s Creative Director, he helps shape the visual presentation of its lessons, stories, and message.

Jireh works as a virtual assistant specializing in website design, video editing, and social media management. He also brings more than five years of sales experience, giving him a practical understanding of how creative work can communicate clearly and connect with people.

Music is another important part of his life. He serves as a song leader in his local church, loves singing, and uses his talent in service to his faith community.

Jireh is a father of two. Among the three brothers on the F.R.E.E. team, he is the eldest, followed by JR and Jerhome. The brothers remain very close and bring their shared faith, skills, and life experiences into the work they do together.

Our mission

Stewardship that makes room for purpose.

We help Filipinos learn to manage money and care for the people entrusted to them. Through practical education, new earning skills, and thoughtful protection, we want more families to move beyond survival, work toward financial freedom, and live out the full potential of their purpose.

You cannot serve your purpose if you are too busy surviving.

Our vision

Financial knowledge within reach of every Filipino.

We aspire to become the Philippines’ leading institution for teaching financial stewardship: a trusted place where people gain the knowledge, habits, and confidence to plan well, provide for their families, and make purposeful decisions with their resources.

We believe many Filipinos have the ability and drive to build a better future. Better financial knowledge can help them turn what they earn into lasting progress.

The framework

Four pillars, in order.

Ensure Protection is the third pillar, before Expand through Investment. Urgent financial risks may still need attention earlier when a household is exposed. The framework connects everyday money habits with a bigger purpose without promising a particular return or outcome. See how these decisions fit together in our complete financial planning guide for Filipinos.
